According to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, over 122 million people were forcibly displaced worldwide by the end of April 2025, including 42.7 million refugees. This number continues to grow as funding for international aid decreases. It’s important to look beyond just the staggering numbers, and realize that each of those individuals has a face, a story, and a set of hopes and dreams they hope to achieve.
